This research has been developed between the three partner countries in order to find out the existing problems regarding the inclusion of refugees and migrants in European society. After a phase of theoretical analysis, the collection of quantitative data through surveys, and their subsequent analysis. We have obtained a detailed report in which some examples of good practices related to integration, public policies that are carried out and the main axes in which integration should be worked on are exposed.

The PITYW program has been based on the research conducted, and from which the pillars of this program have been obtained. It will serve for the future work of youth workers, so that they can include multiculturalism in their daily work and promote the active participation of refugees and migrants in cultural, language, environmental, employability/entrepreneurship and sports activities. In addition to serving as an example for youth organizations, the implementation of the pilot program in Italy and Spain will serve as a reference for any other organization wishing to include it in their daily work.
